Dive into the magic of Isla Cozumel. This jewel of a tropical island rests in the shimmering turquoise waters of the Caribbean. Just east of the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico, the lush jungle life fills the island’s interior while sugary beaches, sunshine, and gently swaying palm trees line the coast. It’s paradise! Cozumel is an easy trip from the United States and offers some of the best diving in the world.

Not only is Cozumel known for its beautiful reef, but it also has an abundance of marine life. It will be a great dive getaway – friendly locals, good food, lively nightspots, warm water, great visibility, and white sandy beaches.

Scuba Club Cozumel Beach Resort is a boutique-style resort, an island paradise. Everything is at your fingertips with an authentic cultural feel. Heather Perry

Instructor

Heather Perry began her dive career in 2005, receiving all of her training at Humboldt State University, earning two minor degrees in addition to her majors; in Scientific Diving and in Leadership Diving (NAUI, HSU, and AAUS. Heather’s love for disciplines, biology, and scuba diving marry nicely to give her students well-rounded & in-depth knowledge of the environment in which they dive.

Heather taught scuba diving for 4 years in the warm, crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean, on an island off the coast of Honduras, where she opened her first Dive Shop. Heather has continued her own dive training beyond Scuba Diving Instructor. She is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor and assists in teaching the Instructor Development Courses and teaching Dive Instructors how to teach. Heather has owned and operated the Limitless Dive Company program for many years having hundreds of students go through her program.

Mimi Kelly

Traveling Child Care Provider

Mimi Kelly is our Montessori-trained, Traveling Child Care Provider, providing safe, fun, and adventure for children whose parents are on one of our vacations or dive courses. Mimi is a trained esthetician, reflexology, and somatic energy healer with a dedicated interest in the Waldorf method of education.

Where We Are Staying

Welcome to Scuba Club Cozumel Resort

Located on the waterfront one mile south of the downtown ferry dock, an attractive multi-level building of Spanish-Colonial architecture blends in with the waterfront. You probably wouldn't know about us unless someone told you. That's how divers find their way here. Designed and built — by divers for divers — to provide all services in one convenient place. A complete rental program is available at the Resort location and a well-stocked retail shop is just across the street.

Scuba Club Cozumel Rooms

The rooms at Scuba Club Cozumel are spacious, comfortable, and have an individual character with a feel of Mexican heritage. All the rooms have a private terrace and most have an ocean view. All rooms are air-conditioned and have ceiling fans, hair dryers, alarm clocks, and a small refrigerator. There is free high-speed WiFi throughout the resort allowing online access 24 hours a day from the comfort of your own room or patio.

Restaurants

Our two restaurants are located in the center of the resort at "the Fat Grouper Grill". Downstairs is open-air for breakfast buffet style and sit-down diver's lunch, with a bar and two TV monitors for watching sports and reviewing the day's video production. We are a Trip Advisor Hall of fame winner for multiple years.

Price (Ground only):

• Diver or Snorkeler/Boat Package = $1576.00 per person, based on double occupancy
• Non-Diver: $1334.00 per person, based on double occupancy
• Single Occupancy Diver or Snorkeler: $1,776
• Single Occupancy Non-Diver: $1,534
• Children's package = $712* (first child) after Family Discount ($222 OFF!)
• Sibling package = $562* each additional child ($372 OFF!!)

After Family Pack Discount. Children must be under age 10 and staying in the same room as paying adults to qualify for the discount. Multiple beds may be requested, at no extra charge. Family rooms with extra space may be requested. All room requests are dependent upon availability.

Know Before You Go

• Electricity – There are no adapters required. If you’re visiting from the States, you won’t need to worry about an adapter for your cell phone or computer. Cozumel operates on a 110 V.

• Bug Spray – Please be sure to bring it with you! Mosquitoes are mostly active in the early morning hours and around sundown.

• Water – Although the water that comes out of the faucet on Cozumel is in fact potable, that doesn’t necessarily mean that you should drink it. While it’s okay to bathe in, we suggest you use bottled water for absolutely anything else.

• Credit Cards – You are able to use your credit cards in most stores and restaurants. Just remember that the charge will be made in pesos and your bank will charge you in dollars.

• Money – 1 Mexican Peso equals 0.0549 USD. So, 20 Mexican pesos is about 1 USD.

• Temperature – Cozumel is one of the hottest climates in Mexico. With average temperatures of 80°F, and cool breezy nights at a low average of 70°F. Water temperatures range from 78°F – 82°F throughout the year.
